Refund policy
Last updated 30 October 2026
How refunds work on TicketZo: what each event's policy means, what happens if an event is cancelled or postponed, and how to ask for your money back.
1. Each event has its own refund policy
The organizer chooses one of these policies for every event. It is shown on the event page and again at checkout, so please check it before you pay:
- Full refund on cancellation: the full amount you paid, including the booking fee.
- Partial refund (booking fee deducted): the ticket price, minus the booking fee.
- Platform credit only: TicketZo credit to use on a future order, instead of money back.
- No refunds: tickets can't be refunded unless the event is cancelled. You can still transfer or resell them where allowed.
2. If an event is cancelled
You don't need to do anything. Your tickets are cancelled and the refund is sent automatically to your original payment method, following the event's refund policy. We email every ticket holder when this happens.
3. If an event is postponed or changed
- Your ticket stays valid for the new date. You don't need to exchange it.
- If you can't make the new date, you can request a refund from your ticket wallet before the rescheduled event starts.
- If the venue, headline performer or format changes so much that it's a different event, you can also request a refund.
4. When refunds aren't available
Unless the event's policy says otherwise, we can't refund tickets because:
- you changed your mind or can no longer attend;
- of weather, traffic, travel or accommodation problems, if the event still goes ahead;
- a supporting act or minor part of the programme changed;
- you were refused entry or removed for breaking venue rules or our Terms;
- the ticket has already been scanned, transferred, or listed for resale.
Can't go? Where the organizer allows it, you can resell your ticket through TicketZo's official resale or transfer it to a friend for free.
5. How to request a refund
- Open the ticket in your ticket wallet and choose "Request a refund". Give a short reason.
- Guests who bought without an account can contact us with the order number and the email used at checkout.
- Requests must be made before the event starts.
6. How long refunds take
- We review requests within 2 business days and tell you the outcome by email.
- Approved refunds go back to the card, bank account or wallet you paid with. Most arrive within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
- Refunds for cancelled events are started automatically on the day of cancellation.
7. Official resale buyer guarantee
If you bought a ticket through TicketZo's official resale and it doesn't get you into the event, you get a full refund of what you paid.
9. Need help?
Contact our Help centre with your order number (it starts with GP-) and the reason for your request.
